A big thank-you to all the TAC ladies who joined us for our Season Opener Picnic at the beautiful Patterson Park in GPP! It was a wonderful way to kick off the new season with good food, great conversation, and the best company.
A special thank-you to Lisa Lechniak, Izzy Donnelly, Erin Ann DiSante, and Marianne Shrader for organizing such a lovely picnic, and to Monica Quinn for treating us to her delicious dessert!
It was wonderful to see everyone and spend some time together before another exciting season begins. We missed all of our TAC ladies who couldn’t be there and hope to see you at our next event!

The 2026 TAC Annual Meeting & Lunch was held at The Ardmore in St. Clair Shores. Thank you to Lisa Lechniak, Erin Ann DiSante, and Izzy Donnelly for organizing, and to everyone who attended.
Congratulations to our new Board Members, who began their term this month. On behalf of all TAC members, we would like to express our appreciation for your dedication to the Theatre Arts Club and your willingness to serve. The reason TAC is able to flourish is because of the wonderful volunteers like you.
It's that time again! Time to renew your TAC Membership for the 2026-27 Season. You may renew online or by mail. To send by mail, simply print and complete the TAC Membership Dues Form and send it in with your payment. We sincerely hope that you will join us for another exciting year of great shows & activities. Please send your membership dues payment to Marianne Shrader by September 1st. We are all looking forward to a great 2026-27 season!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for TAC’s Kentucky Derby Party Fundraiser. We’re so grateful you came out to celebrate with us!
A special thank you to our wonderful hosts, Jackie and Richard Canny, for opening their beautiful home, and to Kim C, Lisa L, Izzy D, Sue L, Jackie C, Erin Ann D, and Marianne S, for all the time, effort, and creativity in organizing this event and providing such delicious food.
We’re also incredibly thankful to everyone who contributed, whether they donated items for the silent auction, sponsored prizes for our Best Hat and Best Derby Duds competitions, volunteered their time, or made a monetary donation. Each contribution made a difference.
And of course, a big round of applause to our talented TAC members for their delightful performance of the Golden Girls short play—you definitely made the evening special!

Congratulations to the wonderful directors, co-producers, scriptwriter, amazing backstage crew, and talented cast of the Tri-Effort Invitational Frolic, on FOUR outstanding performances! Your comedic production of Cheers, Golden Cheers, Where Everyone Knows Mary, was hilarious and next-level fabulous!
We also want to thank everyone who came to the show! We truly appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you at our next event.

Welcome to the TAC Web Site
Founded in 1910, the Theatre Arts Club, a Michigan non-profit organization,
was established as an all-women's theatre group.
The Club spent its first 15 years bringing performances to audiences wherever a stage could be found.
In 1925, that changed when The Players constructed its beautiful Playhouse
and welcomed the Theatre Arts Club to produce their shows there.
Since then, the Historic Players Playhouse has served as our Club's permanent home, welcoming generations of local performers and patrons.
